     Jalgaon is situated in North Maharashtra. Jalgaon is famous for banana  production. Famous Ajanta caves are 55 Kms from Jalgaon which attract tourist from world . Jalgaon come under Khandesh region. It is well connected to major cities by national highways & railways.

    Jalgaon is known for hometown of  Smt.Pratibha Patil (12th President  of India). Jalgaon also have railway station &  is near to Bhusawal which is main junction in Maharashtra.              

           Jalgaon, Dhule & Nandurbar districts are affiliated to North Maharashtra University. Famous Ganesh temple Padmalaya is near to Jalgaon. Bheemkund is there where Bheema killed Bakasur which is 1Km from Ganesh temple.
